As a Marketing Executive, you will step into a pivotal role within the International Licensee Marketing team, directly influencing the successful distribution and promotion of iconic films and series. This is an incredible opportunity to be at the heart of bringing world-class entertainment to international markets, ensuring partners have the resources they need to captivate audiences worldwide. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping marketing strategies, driving engagement, and connecting millions with the content they love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all necessary marketing materials and creative assets for new content releases are provided to partners clearly, accurately, and timely, serving as the primary contact for asset queries.
  • Manage the creative review and approval process for partners’ creative submissions, leading creative discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to source information and creative assets, secure necessary clearances, and guide partners on usage.
  • Oversee the creation of organic social content to support content releases, in collaboration with an intern.
  • Manage the promotional approval process for brand partnerships, reviewing concepts, providing initial feedback, and facilitating approvals with various internal teams.
  • Support Marketing Managers with campaign reviews, implementation, monitoring, and creation of new promotional assets for the extensive content library.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to identify opportunities to promote the content library through new content slates, tactical, seasonal, or other moments throughout the year, maintaining an annual promotional calendar.
  • Share marketing updates with partners monthly and coordinate the collection of best practices with an intern to share with the wider team.
  • Support the development of promotional activities, coordinate and check implementation, channel activities through the relevant approval process, and collate results for wrap reports.
  • Brief creative concepts to agencies and monitor the approval process with internal teams.
  • Support Marketing Managers with key updates and information-gathering for key new content releases and episodic titles.
  • Oversee the setup of local partners with internal systems and processes, providing troubleshooting support. Work with an intern to identify and create processes to optimize information supply to all clients.
  • Ensure all necessary materials for marketing key content are provided to partners via internal systems and communication channels in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Coordinate the creative approval process for materials submitted by partners for review.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop and present content slates, marketing strategies, and opportunities to partners via virtual calls and conferences.
  • Attend regular calls with internal teams and external speaker sessions, identifying opportunities for various markets and providing feedback to the internal team.
  • Provide general ad-hoc day-to-day support as required.
  • Stay updated with relevant industry news, including content performance and marketing trends, to assist the Marketing team in updating partners with relevant information via internal platforms and newsletters.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Marketing experience in a busy work environment.
  • Passion for content and emerging technologies, including the use of online platforms for marketing.
  • Computer literacy mandatory, with excellent skills in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
  • Creativity.
  • Clear/concise communication skills (oral and written), able to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
  • Good business and mathematical skills.
  • High interest in industry developments in the entertainment space.
  • Previous work experience in a corporate environment, ideally within the content distribution industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge about the content distribution industry and overall interest in developments within the entertainment space.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • International market experience with multiple stakeholders.
