Our client is looking for a Copywriter who has experience within Ecommerce and SEO ideally with Amazon and similar sites

  • You will be working closely with our creative leads (design & copy), brand teams and Amazon teams to structure and write copy for the redesign of our clients Amazon brandstore.
  • You’ll play a crucial role in helping to develop and execute strategic copy solutions that drive engagement, conversion, and brand loyalty.
  • You’ll also work on various ecommerce copy for general retailer sites and Amazon using SEO best practices. SEO keywords will be provided for you to use and no research will be needed for this.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and write engaging pages for our Amazon brandstore that are rooted in strategic, shopper-first thinking that also elevates our brands.
  • Write legally compliant ecommerce product descriptions using SEO best practices.

Requirements:

  • A copywriting qualification (or similar) or considerable copywriting experience.
  • Flawless spelling and grammar.
  • Strategic thinker – you’ll need to be able to substantiate your strategic thinking in terms of brand store layout (flow) and copy.
  • Experience working on Amazon content.
  • Knowledge of Amazon brand stores, their components and best-in-class creative.
  • Understanding of SEO and organic search.
  • Your own computer with fast internet.
  • Comfortable working in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • The ability to work quickly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working within the FMCG industry.
  • Understanding of legal compliance.
  • Collaborative and happy to take creative direction from seniors. You’ll also be working very closely with a designer on the Amazon brand store.
  • Happy to work on multiple projects at a time, often with tight deadlines.
  • Friendly with a can-do attitude!
