Our client, a premium podcast studio, is seeking an experienced researcher for their Analytics & Research team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will leverage a combination of first-party and third-party data tools to drive data-driven decision-making across key research initiatives. The insights driven by this role will help shape our understanding of our listeners and inform strategy for Marketing, Content Development, Sales, and Product. Our client is obsessed with their listeners and this role will play a pivotal role in enhancing our ability to continue to serve and grow their audience. This role is ideal for someone with a background in primary research, preferably at an entertainment or media organization, and a passion for getting into the mind of the consumer.

What You’ll Do
Lead research studies for marketing, content, sales and product teams, including but not limited to episode testing, key-art testing, promotion testing, audience strategy and UX testing
Manage routine data reporting and distribution mechanisms for continuous research initiatives
Work cross-functionally on projects with internal stakeholders to understand and address their research needs
Oversee all stages of qualitative and quantitative research studies, including design, fieldwork, analysis and reporting
Aggregate and communicate research findings to key stakeholders, drawing insights and making data-driven recommendations to help shape the path forward
Lead meetings and initiatives with senior level stakeholders both internal and external
Who You Are
5+ years of primary research experience in both qualitative and quantitative research
Past experience working for a market research or consumer insights team at an entertainment company or research agency
Must understand a variety of market research methodologies and their applications
Ability to conduct research independently using internal tools without a research vendor (includes questionnaire writing, programming, QCing, data processing and reporting)
Strong statistical proficiency with the ability to explain statistical concepts in an intuitive way
Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels; exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use a data-driven approach to problem solving and scaling
Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and the ability to react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently
Strong client-management skills; ability to adapt to a variety of individual styles and approaches in order to deliver the appropriate insights and support each requires
Experience with conducting research on ad sales and UX research is a plus
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43.51 to $48.35 an hour.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
