Our retail client is looking for a Project Manager with a background working on digital projects. This will be a temp engagement of 10 months, with the client preferring candidates based in the San Francsico area.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to support the flawless delivery of multiple projects.
- Assist in the definition of project scope, involving all relevant internal stakeholders.
- Assist in developing project schedules and managing changes to schedules over the course of a project.
- Track project progress; report on project health; escalate issues as needed.
- Manage stakeholder communications; track and communicate needed actions (e.g. meeting notes, status reports).
- Identify, manage, and communicate risks.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Develop and update detailed project plans.
- Manage project assets.
Experience:
- 5-7 years’ experience working as a project manager in a matrixed business environment, ideally in ecommerce/digital retail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and a diverse range of tasks.
- Strong project and process management skills.
- Solution-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with a strong multi-tasking ability.
- Ability to work independently; able to successfully operate in areas of ambiguity; self-starter and quick learner; calm and efficient under pressure.
- Versatile and able to prioritize multiple initiatives against multiple deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with project management software tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.90 to $51 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
