Job Title: Contract Figma Production Specialist (As-Built Documentation)

Location: Remote (with a preference for 1 day/week on-site in San Francisco, CA if local)

Engagement Type: Duration: 2-3 weeks (with possibility of extension based on project needs and client approvals)

Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible

Project Overview: We are seeking an expert-level Figma Production Specialist for a critical short-term project. This role involves updating and meticulously documenting an existing online property that was originally developed three years ago. Due to recent changes and the integration of new content types via WordPress, our client requires an “as-built” Figma document reflecting the current, updated content.

Responsibilities:

• Create a comprehensive and accurate “as-built” Figma document based on an existing online property and current WordPress content.
• Ensure the Figma document is clean, well-organized, and production-ready for distribution and handoff to the client.
• Apply best practices for setting up corporate websites within Figma for seamless future handoff and collaboration.
• Collaborate effectively with our internal team (developers, visual designers) to understand existing structures and ensure accurate representation.
• Work independently, requiring minimal oversight after initial onboarding.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma is essential.
• Demonstrated experience creating clean, production-ready Figma files for large-scale corporate websites.
• Strong understanding of best practices for Figma file organization and preparation for developer handoff.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and efficiently on production-oriented tasks.
• Experience with WordPress (understanding of how content types impact site structure) is a plus.

Task description:

• Reconcile an existing legacy Figma project with an as-built website.
• The current website property, built in WordPress, has been live for about five years. The site has evolved and overtime new pages and content types have been introduced.
• The client would like an updated Figma file that better represents the current state of the website.
• Working through an inventory exercise to identity new pages and content types to help build out the updated Figma project.
• The team will work hand-in hand with the Figma contractor to help ensure success.
• Timing is 2-3 weeks.
