Our Bio-tech client is looking for a super talented 3D Designer to join their creative team and help expand their library of high-end scientific and product renderings. This role is perfect for an artist with strong technical skills and a sharp eye for detail, capable of turning complex ideas into stunning visual assets.

You should be highly proficient in 3D Studio Max and/or Houdini, with working knowledge of other 3D tools (such as Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or ZBrush). An exceptional portfolio demonstrating a range of photorealistic renders—especially in scientific, medical, or product-focused visualizations—is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed and realistic 3D renderings and animations for scientific, medical, and product-based projects.

  • Work closely with the creative and scientific teams to accurately translate concepts and data into compelling visuals.

  • Maintain high standards of technical and visual fidelity in all 3D assets.

  • Contribute to the growth of our 3D asset library with reusable and scalable models.

  • Optimize models and scenes for performance without compromising quality.

  • Stay current with emerging tools, workflows, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in 3D design or a related field.

  • Expertise in 3D Studio Max and/or Houdini.

  • Strong understanding of modeling, lighting, shading, texturing, and rendering workflows.

  • A portfolio showcasing photorealistic 3D work, especially scientific, product, or industrial renderings.

  • Familiarity with render engines such as V-Ray, Redshift, Arnold, or Octane.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience with simulation-based modeling or procedural workflows (e.g., in Houdini).

  • Background in medical illustration, product design, or industrial visualization.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and compositing tools like After Effects or Nuke.

  • Experience preparing assets for real-time engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65 to $72 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
