Join a Fortune 500 e-commerce giant revolutionizing online retail as they champion environmental sustainability! As a Program Manager focused on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance, you will spearhead global initiatives, ensuring adherence to evolving regulations and minimizing environmental impact. This is a chance to shape the future of sustainable e-commerce on a global scale. 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage international EPR compliance programs. You will collaborate with diverse teams, navigate complex regulatory landscapes, and drive impactful change within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a 6 month contract paying £370.48 – £410 per day PAYE, 3 days a week in London. 

Responsibilities:

  • Launch and oversee new EPR compliance programs across the globe.
  • Identify and collaborate with Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs).
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with compliance schemes and service providers.
  • Develop and implement compliance monitoring systems.
  • Create and maintain monthly compliance reporting frameworks.
  • Calculate and forecast compliance costs and budgets.
  • Drive process automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in EPR reporting and minimize compliance risks.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in (environmental) compliance or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of EPR or environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in cross-functional team leadership.
  • Proven track record in managing complex regulatory projects.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  •  
  • Experience with environmental compliance software systems.
  • Knowledge of multiple international EPR schemes.
  • Financial/budgeting experience.
  • Data analysis and reporting expertise.
  • Additional language skills.
  • Experience in process automation and optimization.
  • Background in sustainability or environmental consulting.
