Job Title: Data Engineer or Software Engineer AI Research Data Pipelines
Location: London – Hybrid working – 3 days on site

We’re working with a global technology leader on an exciting AI research initiative, and we’re seeking a Data Engineer / Software Engineer to support the onboarding and filtering of large-scale datasets for advanced language and multimodal AI models.
In this role, you’ll help ensure the datasets powering next-generation AI are high-quality, well-structured, and risk-mitigated — enabling world-class research teams to innovate faster and more responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Onboarding – Convert raw datasets into formats ready for processing in advanced filtering pipelines.
- Filtering & Cleaning – Execute data cleaning, quality improvement, and filtering for text, image, and video datasets.
- Post-Processing – Apply filtering results to source datasets, repackage, and re-ingest them for research use.
- Collaboration – Work with engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable datasets.
Skills & Experience
- Technical Skills – Strong Python development skills; experience designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines.
- Data Management Expertise – Hands-on experience in preprocessing, cleaning, transformation, formatting, and quality validation of large datasets.
- Storage & Infrastructure Knowledge – Familiarity with modern data storage solutions and handling large multimedia datasets.
- Collaboration & Communication – Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
