As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your analytical skills will be essential in preparing financial statements and reports that provide valuable insights into the company’s performance. This is a 3 months, hybrid, contract, offering £284.81 per day (PAYE) – 37.5hrs/week. This role is open for a limited time. What You’ll Do:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
• Reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger, ensuring data integrity.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyze costs, revenues, and financial commitments to forecast future financial performance.

Must-Haves:

• Business/Accounting degree or equivalent experience.
• Professional Accounting designation (e.g., CPA).
• Strong technical accounting expertise (US GAAP).
• Month-end close experience (journals and reconciliations).
• Compliance filing experience (financial statement preparation, VAT, corporate tax).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and Excel skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with large accounting software packages (Oracle Financials preferred).
• Experience working in a Big 4/Top 10 Accounting firm.
