Senior Designer

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Designer to work with our client 

Your role is to assist the Creative Director and be a leader in the design team, always ensuring the highest quality of design output. Working as part of our creative team, you will take creative concepts from design development to completion and asset supply.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to consistently produce best-in-class, integrated design creative in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The role 

• Reporting into the Creative Director
• Creating inspiring design concepts and executing these across a range of channels and mediums including email, social, advertising, web, print and experiential
• Responsible for pushing the agency’s creative offering to a new level
• Overseeing work from designers and freelancers to ensure it is of the highest standards, on brief, on brand and error free
• Delivering quality print and digital artwork to relevant specifications
• Consistently packaging final files for supply without errors and omissions
• Understanding print production processes and experienced in packaging print ready files to correct specs including cutter guides, measurements, folds and finishes
• Ability to set up and work within multi-layered folder systems for larger, more complex design jobs
• Working independently and owning projects from start to finish
• Becoming a brand guardian for our clients and their guidelines
• Flexing around changing workloads, deadlines and priorities
• Presenting work internally and with clients as required

Ideal candidate

• Relevant agency experience to Senior Designer level
• Knowledge of integrated marketing – especially digital, social and print
• Proven track record of quality design concepting and development
• Has a genuine passion for delivering design excellence
• Experience of overseeing and taking responsibility for other designers’ work
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent time management and can work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Confident to challenge/have opinions on the creative work
• Self-starter with a ‘can do’ approach
• A problem solver
• Skilled within Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects, PowerPoint and Sketch
• Design degree or similar
