Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quality assurance, quality control, or proofreading role within a creative, design, or production environment.

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Checker (Quality Assurance / QC Specialist) to join our Creative Services team. In this role, you will act as the final line of defence between the creative production process and client delivery ensuring every design, presentation, and document meets the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and brand compliance.

We deliver creative and design solutions to corporate clients across sectors such as finance, legal, and professional services. The Quality Checker ensures that every deliverable whether a client pitch, report, or presentation is not only visually flawless but also technically and linguistically precise.

This role is ideal for a perfectionist with a sharp eye for design and a deep appreciation for brand integrity, layout precision, and detail accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Brand Consistency

  • Verify that all design and layout elements (logos, typography, colours, and imagery) adhere strictly to client brand guidelines.
  • Ensure templates (PowerPoint, Word, InDesign, etc.) are applied correctly and consistently throughout documents and presentations.
  • Check for stylistic consistency across pages, slides, and materials, including graphic alignment, spacing, and hierarchy.
  • Confirm that tone, messaging, and formatting meet both client and internal quality standards.

2. Technical & Layout Precision

  • Conduct thorough visual inspections to confirm pixel-perfect alignment and consistent spacing of design elements.
  • Review layouts for errors such as inconsistent margins, incorrect pagination, misplaced images, or visual imbalances.
  • Verify file specifications for both print and digital outputs, ensuring correct bleeds, margins, and resolution settings.
  • Validate that all deliverables are optimized for their final medium (digital, print-ready, or interactive).

3. Data and Content Accuracy

  • Proofread all textual content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.
  • Cross-check numerical and data-driven content (charts, tables, infographics) against source materials to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Verify that all disclaimers, copyright notices, and version controls are applied correctly.
  • Ensure that client-specific terminology, tone, and legal standards are properly maintained.

4. Workflow and Process Quality Assurance

  • Perform ad-hoc quality checks on work produced by the creative production team, identifying and logging any inconsistencies or deviations.
  • Collaborate with designers, operators, and workflow managers to ensure rapid resolution of identified issues.
  • Maintain detailed error logs and communicate actionable feedback to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor adherence to Service Line Agreements (SLAs) and client-specific quality requirements.
  • Participate in feedback loops by reporting recurring issues or training needs to team leads and shift managers to drive continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quality assurance, quality control, or proofreading role within a creative, design, or production environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot inconsistencies in design, layout, and content.
  • Strong understanding of brand and visual identity systems.
  • Familiarity with design and document software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word), or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong proofreading and editing abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume workflow.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to maintain accuracy even under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working within corporate or agency settings supporting professional services clients (finance, law, consulting, etc.) is preferred.

Who You Are

You are the person who notices the smallest misalignment, the missing comma, or the slightly off-brand colour before anyone else does. You take pride in ensuring that every project delivered is flawless, professional, and perfectly aligned with the client’s standards. If you thrive in a detail-heavy, deadline-driven environment where excellence is expected and quality is everything, we’d love to have you on our team.
