We’re seeking a talented Production Designer to join our clients Content Design team.
- This role is perfect for a designer with exceptional visual design skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for bringing books to life in the digital space.
- You’ll create compelling visual experiences that help millions of readers discover their next great read across devices, working alongside the industry’s best designers and creative minds.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong command of visual and communication design principles with particular expertise in typography and layout
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop for cover art adaptation and enhancement
- Proven ability to create and maintain cohesive visual systems across multiple formats
- Extensive experience with photo retouching, compositing, and colour correction
- Experience naming files according to production specifications with exceptional attention to detail
- Clear communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and adapt key artwork for features, curated collections, and promotional campaigns.
- Partner with art directors, creative producers, and editorial teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Craft visually stunning presentations that bring our campaigns to life for partners and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain design templates and systems that ensure consistent, scalable production.
- Document workflows, maintain comprehensive style guides, and share best practices with the team.
- Ensure quality excellence through thorough review of all design assets before publication.
Highly Desirable.
- Experience in publishing, marketing design, editorial design, or digital book retail.
- Understanding of diverse reader demographics and genre-specific design approaches.
- Genuine passion for books and their role in culture and society.
Portfolio Requirements :
- Excellence in typography and thoughtful layout design.
- Experience adapting and enhancing existing artwork while maintaining brand integrity, working with style guides and design toolkits to create exceptional assets.
- Design work that showcases your attention to detail.
- Projects that reflect your understanding of narrative and visual storytelling.
