Working model: In-office presence is required at least 50-75% of the week, with specific days dependant based on customer activities and the team calendar.
The EMEA Senior Events Manager is responsible for the project management of a defined portfolio of event programmes designed for client’s employees, customers, prospective customers, alliance partners, press, and analysts. This position supports the development of new and existing events, and ensures that all related activities support the overall strategy set forth by each event owner. The events could take the form of live or digital events.
Responsibilities
- Project lead for assigned events, responsible for event planning, execution and return on investment tracking.
- General logistics which include, but are not limited to, venue research and selection; contract management, budget development, staffing assignments; staff and attendee communication; food and beverage coordination; ancillary event management; registration services; website and registration development; creative services coordination; sponsorship coordination; technical production coordination; speaker management; branded merchandise; and vendor coordination.
- Ensure the successful planning and execution of the portfolio’s events which include, conferences, partner summits, executive meetings, and prospective and current customer events.
- Ensure programmes remain within budget, meet programmatic goals, and reflect favorably on the client’s brand.
- Regularly survey and analyse feedback from event attendees and partners to ensure identified objectives are being met.
- Develop and run project timeline, ensuring these are met.
- Provide support to plan and deliver large pan-EMEA programs i.e. Rising EMEA
- Maintain or improve service levels for internal clients and program colleagues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support seamless integrated marketing plans as applicable.
- Proactively bring new insights and improved processes to the team for consideration. Push yourself, the unit, and your colleagues in Event Marketing to think differently and perform extraordinarily.
- Continually identify, propose, and implement cost-savings opportunities.
- Partner on other Event Marketing programmes as requested based on need or opportunity.
Requirements

10+ years of shown success in event project management and/or conference production in a rapid-growth environment.
- Shown success in leading external vendors, suppliers, and venues.
- Especially diligent and able to successfully handle multiple, concurrent project demands within established timelines.
- Consistently positive customer service orientation. Professional interpersonal skills for a spectrum of partners representing cross-functional units. Accurate verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly-competent budget development and management skills.
- Should possess a sense of connection in helping to achieve the company’s annual sales goals.
- Resourceful, self-starter and strong work ethic. Passionate about realising the potential in just about everything.
- Limited travel as related to assigned events. Travel requirements may increase as needed for research and onsite coordination of expanding events portfolio.
- Outstanding digital literacy required (at a minimum): Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google docs
