We are looking for an Agency Account Executive to build and grow strategic relationships across the programmatic advertising ecosystem. This role sits on the supply side and focuses on driving agency preference and adoption of SSP solutions in a competitive market.
You will work closely with internal product, commercial and technical teams while acting as a trusted partner to media agencies and programmatic decision-makers. This is not a traditional quota-carrying sales role; success is measured through relationship strength, platform adoption and influenced revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage senior relationships with media agencies and programmatic teams
- Position the SSP as a preferred partner across agency trading desks and investment teams
- Influence planning and buying decisions through product education and market insight
- Support the launch and adoption of new programmatic products
- Develop and execute agency account plans to drive long-term growth
- Maintain a strong external presence through regular customer meetings
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and optimise partner performance
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in programmatic advertising
- Background in an SSP, DSP, or programmatic role within a media agency
- Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders with commercial and technical credibility
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) – essential
Nice to Have
- Connected TV (CTV) or direct media buying experience
- Exposure to supply path optimisation (SPO)
