As a Data Engineer within the Survey Warehouse and Measurement function, you will work across a family of global applications, contributing to the design and development of some of the world’s largest and most complex data sets. Your technical expertise and analytical mindset will help shape data-driven insights that support experiences used by billions of people and millions of businesses worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Survey Data teams and Marketing Data Science stakeholders to translate business and analytical requirements into scalable, automated data solutions that improve marketing effectiveness
- Design, develop and maintain data models, pipelines, dashboards and analytical tools to support marketing programmes and campaigns
- Solve complex data integration challenges using effective Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) patterns, frameworks and querying techniques across structured and unstructured data sources
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and marketing teams to understand data needs and communicate insights in clear, meaningful ways
- Contribute to the design of data architectures for large-scale initiatives, evaluating technical design choices and operational cost–benefit trade-offs
- Implement and maintain data security and privacy controls, ensure compliance with governance standards, and proactively address data quality issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in data-focused roles such as Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar
- At least 5 years’ experience working with SQL, ETL processes, data modelling, data visualisation, and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Experience in marketing analytics or marketing technology is desirable
