Solutions Architect — Business Operations
Wallet, Payments & Commerce
Summary
Are you a builder and problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of technology and business operations? Do you have a passion for using AI and automation to transform how teams work? As part of the Wallet, Payments & Commerce Business Operations team, you’ll help design, develop, and scale the internal platform tools that power partner management, reporting, analytics, and process automation across our global business teams.
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered tools and automation solutions that transform how our Business Operations function operates at scale.
This is a unique opportunity for a technically skilled and product-minded professional who can bridge the gap between engineering and business functions. You will work closely with business development managers, operations specialists, and leadership to identify opportunities for AI-driven efficiency, develop prototypes, and bring scalable solutions to life.
The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering and AI expertise with excellent communication skills, product sensibility, and a curiosity about business operations and technology.
Description
As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and execution of key platform development programmes. Key responsibilities may include:
· Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance business operations workflows, including partner relationship management, dashboard delivery, reporting compliance, and process automation.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, operations, analytics, and leadership teams to identify and prioritise AI use cases.
· Act as a product developer and owner from concept to rollout — defining requirements, developing proofs of concept, collecting feedback, and iterating solutions.
· Build scalable data processing pipelines with a focus on accuracy, quality, and automation.
· Drive the onboarding of manual and legacy processes onto centralised automation platforms.
· Evaluate and integrate third-party tools and platforms as needed, ensuring compatibility and compliance with internal systems.
· Maintain strong documentation and governance around data usage, model performance, and platform reliability.
· Stay current on emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and operational technology to help shape the team’s platform strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 5+ years of experience building and deploying business solutions in production environments.
· Strong programming skills in Python (proven ability to quickly master new frameworks and tools).
· Demonstrated experience with modern AI architectures including context engineering, tool use, and retrieval augmented generation.
· Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong product development mindset — able to translate business needs into practical, scalable tools.
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience in or exposure to business operations, payments, fintech, or financial services.
· Experience building CRM, reporting, or dashboard platforms.
· Familiarity with automation frameworks, workflow orchestration, and data pipeline tooling.
· Experience building internal AI assistants or chatbots for enterprise knowledge retrieval.
· Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and governance frameworks.
