Contract – 3 months

• Advertising Design Technology at Brand Innovation Lab is the customized development and prototyping team for advertisers and agencies. We focus on the conception, prototyping, and execution of custom branded experiences across properties.
• As a Contractor Senior Design Technologist (DT), candidates will divide their time between execution and strategy. They will contribute to defining new ad products, pre-sales prototypes, and custom campaign execution, collaborating closely with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Account teams.
• Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of current and future web technology, with a keen awareness of its impact on user-centered design. Comfort with reading, writing, and reviewing vanilla JavaScript on both client and server sides, building personal libraries, and creating task automation to expedite development is expected.
• The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, thrives in highly technical teams, and is proficient in using data and insights for decision-making. They should be capable of writing documentation, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy, and translating business requirements into exceptional customer experiences by prioritizing the customer’s perspective and maintaining high standards.
• Responsibilities include managing both design and development with strong front-end skills, being a creative problem solver with an eye for top-tier functional design, and bringing innovative ideas to conceive, create, and deliver branded shopping experiences for millions of customers worldwide across various platforms.

We’re looking for someone with:

– Proven web development experience across multiple devices, web-views, and browsers.
– The ability to simplify complex problems into intuitive and elegant experiences.
– The skill to deliver functional prototypes on new devices.
– Effective communication of complex concepts across diverse audiences and organizational levels.
– Participation in the full lifecycle of design and development, including ideation, prototyping, development, backwards compatibility, fail-overs, validation, and user-testing.
