Aquent is seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Artist Creative Director to join a cutting-edge GenAI Content Engineering team. This is your opportunity to pioneer new visual frontiers, collaborating with talented engineers, product managers, and designers to craft compelling AI-driven visual experiences.
As the AI Artist Creative Director, you’ll be the visionary force behind a team of prompt engineers, guiding them to create stunning visuals using cutting-edge AI tools. You’ll be instrumental in developing and refining the visual style and voice of AI-generated content, ensuring a cohesive and captivating user experience. Your expertise in AI art communities and trends will be invaluable in shaping the future of digital art.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of prompt engineers, providing expert guidance on visual content creation using AI tools.
- Develop innovative concepts and treatments for AI-generated visual content, from initial pitching to final refinement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define opportunities and bring creative ideas to life.
- Establish and maintain a consistent visual style, voice, and tone for all AI-generated content.
- Optimize content performance through testing, evaluation, and refinement, sharing best practices with the team.
- Stay ahead of the curve in AI art trends and communities, ensuring the team’s work remains fresh and relevant.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in a creative field, with at least one year specifically using GenAI tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing your expertise in AI visual artistry (please include a link on your resume).
- Proven ability to create high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with engineers, creatives, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
- Experience successfully shipping products under tight deadlines.
- Expertise in prompt engineering visual and multimodal content.
- Proficiency with design systems such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience managing and mentoring creative teams.
- Deep understanding of the technical aspects of AI art generation.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50.85 to $56.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
