About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Director of Regulatory Compliance, transforming complex legal requirements into actionable project plans and ensuring seamless execution. You’ll play a crucial part in bridging the gap between legal mandates and operational realities, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to build and implement robust compliance frameworks. Your work will directly contribute to the integrity and resilience of a platform used by millions, fostering a secure and compliant environment for all stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the tracking and implementation of critical short-term rental regulatory requirements across various markets, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders as new mandates emerge, and spearheading the successful deployment of compliance solutions.
- Provide essential support for compliance requirements stemming from major regulatory frameworks impacting digital platforms, partnering with legal, engineering, and product teams to navigate complexities and assist with crucial reporting and risk assessment obligations.
- Facilitate and prepare for dynamic bi-weekly regulatory compliance forums involving leadership and diverse cross-functional stakeholders, meticulously managing compliance roadmaps and decision registers to ensure strategic alignment and progress.
- Proactively monitor regional compliance needs, evaluate proposed solutions, and oversee their effective implementation, ensuring our client remains agile and responsive to a rapidly changing regulatory environment.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Professional experience in project management, specifically within regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience working with large-scale digital platforms is essential.
- Proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional compliance projects, ideally within a trading or financial services platform environment.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with leading project management and collaboration software.
