We’re looking for a Freelance Creative Director with deep experience in branding and visual identity development to lead the creative vision for our company.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate brand values into powerful, consistent creative across all touchpoints — from digital campaigns to packaging, social content, and brand experiences.

You’ll be responsible for shaping and maintaining a distinctive brand identity while guiding creative teams toward innovative, high-impact storytelling that drives engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve brand identity systems, ensuring visual and verbal consistency across all platforms and campaigns

  • Lead the creation of brand guidelines, tone of voice, and creative assets that strengthen and unify our brand presence

  • Translate brand strategy into compelling creative concepts for campaigns, digital content, social media, and experiential activations

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and leadership teams to align creative output with business objectives and audience insights

  • Provide strategic and creative direction to designers, writers, and producers — guiding projects from concept through to final delivery

  • Present and pitch creative ideas to internal stakeholders or clients, articulating how creative solutions support brand strategy

  • Stay current with design and cultural trends, continually pushing the brand’s creative expression forward.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in creative direction, art direction, or brand design (agency or in-house)
  • Demonstrated experience building or revitalizing brands, with a strong portfolio showcasing branding projects and campaigns
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy, identity systems, and storytelling
  • Proven ability to create and enforce brand guidelines and creative frameworks
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire creative teams
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design tools
  • Experience managing multiple creative projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Knowledge of motion, digital, and experiential branding is a plus.
