About the Role:

As an Account Executive in Tech Sales, you will practice and embody consultative selling in both internal and client-facing settings. Leveraging your deep knowledge of our platforms and marketing technologies, you will identify and enable long-term opportunities for clients and partners. You will drive joint business plans, account-level strategy, and annual activation plans while developing new relationships and revenue streams. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Account Management

    • Develop and execute account plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve client objectives and revenue goals.

    • Identify revenue and growth opportunities within assigned accounts and coordinate internal resources to maximise potential.
    • Serve as a strategic partner, building and maintaining high-impact relationships with key client stakeholders.
    • Draw actionable insights from data analysis to inform strategy, influence decisions, and drive change.
  2. Project & Stakeholder Management

    • Lead cross-functional projects to ensure timely delivery of solutions to clients, including training, product enhancements, and global/regional campaigns.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating internal efforts to resolve issues and provide seamless service.
    • Share best practices and lessons learned internally and externally to enhance performance and client outcomes.
  3. Industry & Media Expertise

    • Utilise knowledge of the media and advertising industry to provide insights and recommendations to clients.

    • Keep abreast of industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and maintain a consultative approach.
    • Support joint business plan development and client engagement strategies to foster long-term partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with a strong track record in media sales.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage complex client relationships and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Background in the media or advertising industry strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in: technology platform knowledge, sales/partnership strategy, industry analysis, data-driven insights, opportunity and pipeline management, consultative client conversations, stakeholder management, and operational strategy.

  • Strong persuasion and consultative skills.
  • Ability to analyse client data to drive decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Situational leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven ability to translate insights into actionable plans and results.
