Are you a visionary event marketing professional with a passion for creating impactful experiences? We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual to lead the full lifecycle of large-scale, company-owned events. In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategy, meticulous execution, and insightful post-event analysis for our key customer engagement initiatives in the European region. This is your chance to build new programs, influence senior stakeholders, and delight customers, leaving a lasting mark on our brand and market presence.
What you’ll do:
- Own the strategy and comprehensive management of company-owned events in the European region, from initial concept to post-event assessment.
- Develop and execute innovative approaches to maximize customer engagement at large-scale company-owned events.
- Set and maintain an exceptionally high standard for customer experience across all large-scale company-owned events within the organization.
- Manage robust go-to-market strategies for company-owned events, including developing compelling proposals and detailed execution plans.
- Collaborate seamlessly with senior internal stakeholders to gather timely inputs and establish efficient cross-functional processes, ensuring consistently high-quality execution.
- Compile, analyze, and present insightful performance metrics, identifying potential opportunities for program growth and optimization.
- Manage vendor selection through comprehensive RFPs and thorough analysis to effectively scale event support and resources.
- Contribute significantly to strategic documentation related to company-owned events, shaping future directions.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing, encompassing both strategy and hands-on execution.
- 5+ years of experience producing and scaling medium to large first-party events.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of influencing diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data to derive actionable business recommendations.
- A strong self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated strong bias for action, adept at managing multiple priorities and instilling a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, exhibiting resilience in the face of setbacks.
- Capacity to pivot effortlessly from generating big, creative ideas to meticulous execution and driving continuous process improvement.
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority, building consensus and driving initiatives forward.
- A track record of partnering effectively with multiple stakeholders across an organization.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and make sound decisions autonomously.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience successfully managing complex and highly visible projects.
- Proficiency with standard office productivity suites including MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience managing B2B events in relevant enterprise sectors (e.g., finance, technology, procurement).
- Experience working in rapid-growth companies and industries.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, and work across various time zones.
- A strong desire to work in a rapidly changing, ambiguous, and undefined environment.
- Event industry-related certifications (e.g., CMP, CMM, CTSM).
- Experience with leading digital marketing and analytics tools (e.g., content management systems, BI tools, CRM, marketing automation platforms).
- Demonstrated ability to perform exceptionally well in a highly dynamic, geographically diverse, and rapidly changing environment.
