In March, Aquent sponsored the brilliant Creative Mornings London and joined lots of other creatives for an early morning event.
March’s theme was ‘water’ and we were excited to welcome Alexander Taylor, industrial design studio founder and also the man who designed the amazing take on the Adidas Ultraboost trainer using illegal deep-sea net plastic removed from the Southern Ocean.
Working in partnership with Parley, an organisation dedicated to raising awareness for the beauty and fragility of our oceans, Alex created a shoe that not only brought the world’s attention to the plight of our seas and helped to clean up the ocean, but also had sneakerheads the world over scrambling to get their hands on a pair.
Alex loves collaborating with experts to create more sustainable solutions to everyday problems and believes that collectively we can change things for the better. Hear more about the great work Alex did with Adidas/Parley here.
Sounds like a great way to start your Friday right? Be sure to sign up to the Creative Mornings London newsletter and you’ll be the first to know about the dates, themes and speakers for each month’s event.
