We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to support our team on a flexible, contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a freelance background who is looking to gain deeper, longer-term experience within a structured team environment — particularly those considering a future transition into a permanent role. You’ll work across a variety of projects helping to analyse data, improve reporting processes, support decision-making and deliver valuable insights to the business. You’ll need to be a fast learner, able to navigate systems and tools quickly and be confident
collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across different teams.

What you’ll do:

 Quickly develop a strong working knowledge of our internal systems and data sources gaining the confidence to navigate them independently.
 Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to understand their analytical and reporting needs, and translating these into clear actionable requirements that support effective decision-making.
 Deliver training sessions and provide hands-on support to end-users of business intelligence tools and dashboards helping them get the most value from available data and systems.
 Offer ongoing support to users resolving issues, answering queries and continuously improving the user experience across reporting tools and platforms.
 Assess the quality, consistency and control of data flows across systems; identify gaps or inefficiencies and provide practical well-reasoned suggestions for improvement to enhance data integrity and usability.
 Present insights, reports and recommendations in a clear, concise and engaging manner tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 Maintain robust advanced Excel models and dashboards to support planning, forecasting and performance reporting.
 Perform detailed data analysis using advanced Excel models and dashboards to identify trends, anomalies, risks and opportunities that can inform business strategy.
 Proactively identify and implement opportunities to automate, streamline and centralise reporting processes and Management Information (MI) to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency.
 Contribute to wider project and operational initiatives by supporting ad hoc analysis, building business cases and acting as a trusted analytical partner to internal teams.

What you’ll bring:

 Proven experience in an analytical, business support or reporting role (freelance or in-house).
 Degree educated (2.1 and above).
 Advanced Excel skills – confidence with formulas, pivot tables, technical problem solving (knowledge of Power Query an advantage).
 Understanding of Finance (particularly financial accounting concepts, highly beneficial to have worked in previous finance-based roles).
 Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across different teams.

 Enthusiasm and a positive attitude with the ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. Appreciation for the vibrant and dynamic nature of a large creative agency.
 Confident presenting findings and recommendations in a professional user-friendly format tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 Confident amending and recording process change.
 A proactive and flexible attitude with the ability to manage your time, prioritise tasks and work independently.
 Able to come into the office 3x per week (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) – mandatory.

Preferred:

 Experience with Ariba and SAP is advantageous.
 Experience using SharePoint for data management including managing SharePoint lists and using Power Automate (Flows) for automation.
 Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
 Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI with the ability to build and maintain insightful user-friendly dashboards and reports.
 A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
 Previous experience working in a creative, media or marketing environment.
