Our D&I Focus for 2022.

Education around D&I

We have easily accessible company-wide education materials shared around the movement to end racial injustice and its historical significance. We have UK-localised suggested reading & an education depository of resources. Training and workshops for teams are ongoing around all forms of discrimination.

Data equality monitoring and improvement

Equality data collection, monitoring & reporting processes are currently being refined in line with GDPR guidelines. We’ll use the data we gather to gain a better understanding of how we’re doing and measure our progress periodically.

Refining and improving equality processes

We will continue to build diversity & inclusion objectives into every recruitment & business process. Refining tools, resources and recruitment practices including but not limited to: non-bias anonymised CVs, gender neutral job descriptions, diversified talent networks and interview practice.

Social Justice Initiative.

In 2020, we made a pledge globally to reaffirm our company’s values of equality, by taking three concrete steps towards social justice reform. These were Education, Support, and Donation.

This involved making self-improvement a priority for our teams across the world with education materials and training. Support given by encouraging our staff to take time off to vote, lobby & protest, and make their voices heard in national, state and local elections. Aquent pledged $20,000 to NAACP & matches donations, dollar for dollar made by staff & registered Talent across the globe to similar organisations that lead this fight. In the UK we support the Aleto Foundation.

Aquent’s Equality Statement.

Aquent acts to ensure that no employee, applicant or talent receives less favourable treatment (either directly or indirectly) because of any protected characteristics (e.g. race, age, disability, gender, etc.).

Our aim is that our workforce will be truly representative of all sections of society and that each employee or talent feels respected and able to give their best.

Our full Equality policy is available on request. If you have any questions, or would like to know more about Aquent’s D&I incentives, you can email our UK D&I Council.
