Here's how we're taking action.

Building the Foundation:

  • Formed local and international Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Councils with representatives from across the company.
  • Developed ongoing audit of the full recruitment life cycle.
  • Provide free, real-time market salary data to the public through our Compare My Salary Tool.
  • Produced annual Salary Guide with salaries for more than 190 roles related to marketing, design, and technology.
  • Expanded equality data collection, monitoring, and reporting in line with UK Government and EU guidelines.

Attracting and Recruiting Talent:

  • Expanding diversified talent networks and pipelines.
  • Offering unbiased anonymised resumes.
  • Creating gender-neutral job descriptions.
  • Created a guide for our recruiters to post inclusive job ads.
  • Reinforcing interview best practices.
  • Ensuring pay parity and equity for all employees.
  • Developed guides for hiring managers to take action on diversity, equity and inclusion in their workplaces.
  • Implemented traditional place names on all our digital assets including our job ads.

Empowering and Developing Employees:

  • Invested in our employees' growth through training programs on allyship, inclusiveness, mitigating bias, and ethics.
  • Developed company-wide education materials, training, and discussions around underrepresented groups, racial injustice, and its historical significance.
  • Hosted speakers series as well as book and film clubs centered on inclusion and belonging, sparking insightful conversations among colleagues.

  • Give each Aquent employee five ‘Make It Matter' days per year to choose a charity of their choice to volunteer their time to help others.

Fostering a Culture of Belonging:

  • Formed Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), peer groups, and clubs open to all employees.
  • Launched company-wide Allyship ERG to build allies, support, and community for all employees.
  • Shared talent art that celebrated inclusion and belonging across our social media platforms company-wide.

Community Engagement and Impact:

  • Raised more than $210,000 in contributions to social justice organisations.
  • Awarded $135,000 in Designing for Good grants to help bring creative ideas to life for nonprofits.
  • Created policy offering employees time off to vote in local, state, and federal elections.
  • Hosted LinkedIn Live events focused on inclusive design and pay equity.
  • Developed a guide for leaders on how to approach culturally sensitive topics
  • Developed free training organisations on how to ensure that digital assets are digitally accessible.
  • Sharing talent art from creators of colour or that celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion across our social media platforms.
  • Ensuring that the events we run and participate in include diverse speakers and are accessible to everyone.

A commitment to Diversity, Inclusion & Sustainability is in our DNA.

As an organisation, we have been committed to diversity, inclusion and sustainability from Day One, and we’re now formalising our approach and building these things into every aspect of our company. We’ve formed employee-led Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Councils in every country we work in to help drive this work forward. We’re holding ourselves accountable to create a better future, assess our progress, and identify opportunities to continuously improve.
